Addlestone is a town in the Runnymede Borough of Surrey, England. Immediate surrounding towns and villages include Weybridge, Ottershaw, Chertsey, New Haw and Walton-on-Thames. It is near Junction 11 of the M25 motorway and is served by Addlestone railway station. The M25 motorway bisects the town. There was only one bridge over the motorway, so other roads, such as Liberty Lane, were divided into two roads: Liberty Rise and Liberty Lane. The main road in Addlestone is Church Road, a linear development; shops include Tescos and Iceland, many charity shops, Glendinning Management Consultancy and the NHS doctors’ surgery.
To be honest, there isn’t a lot in Addlestone. Apart from Tesco and Woolworths, all there is really is a bunch of charity shops and umpteen takeaways. Although we do regularly order from Kebab Land, the staff there are very friendly. Another good place to eat is Wimpy on Station Road. The staff there are also very friendly.
